I have indeed shot the KSG. I have had the privilege of shooting it on 2 separate occasions, with about 50 rounds down range personally and I would estimate another 250 rounds from other people while I was there. No malfunctions of any type. I know - not data.

12 of these fit in each side. That gives you 24 + 1 on board. They function flawlessly in the gun. We put 50 plus down range. They have reduced recoil, wider spread and 1200 fps. AWESOME for home defense purposes even if each shot has less pellets. The wife who is not a huge fan of my 18" Rem 870, absolutely loved the KSG.

From what I have gathered from reviews/articles:
- Its harder to load because the loading gate area is not quite as wide as the magazines -- I didn't notice that.
- The magazine selector is a lever on the back of the pistol grip, and has a 'middle' position that makes the magazine shell releases and the lifters not engage on either magazine. -- I do not see that as a negative, but as a training issue and for those who chose to keep buckshot in one tube and slugs in the other it makes one decide where the shells are coming from
- The magazine selector does not always engage positively, combining with the above to induce misfeeds - beta problem has been fixed-
The loading gate area is aft of the grip, introducing ergonomic weirdness. - many people flip the gun to reload and it works pretty well-
Kel-tec still isn't shipping them in quantity as of last I heard (nigh a year ago, tho..) -- my local MOD has them in stock and for sale at $950.

If I wanted a high cap semi auto shotgun, I'd go for a VEPR 12. They're about a thousand bucks, though.

Precision, IF you get one (or even if you test-fire one for an EXTENDED/LONG time), PLEASE provide a review (pictures would be nice but NOT required for the review)!!!

I (for one) would LOVE to read a review from a normal human who might drop it in the mud, expose it to fine sand, freeze it, and/or set it on the black hood of a truck out in the sunlight, which might be well over 130 degrees F, and go from one to another in a matter of SECONDS!!! Find every way to use and abuse it, then let us know what you think (PREFERABLY with one of their COMPANY provided - NOT BOUGHT - SHOTGUNS)!!!
