I know that most cars today have a "safety" feature that "helpfully" unlocks the doors when you placed it in park. Took me a while, but I finally found the sequence in the owners manual of my Trailblazer to disable that BS. Can't shut it off entirely, they still lock automatically when I get up towards 10 MPH, but I was able to disable the automatic unlock, with just such a situation in mind (not necessarily an MC on the road, but unfriendly strangers close aboard when I park that want in before I've scanned the area and am ready to exit).
