Colorado Gun Rights Stickers

Post by Darrell »

Chris gave me permission to post about this, so here goes:

What with all the anti-gun hysteria in Colorado, and the pro-gun responses (including the pending recall of two of the Dem Cong state senators who foisted this upon us!), I've been experimenting in Coreldraw, coming up with a few gun rights stickers. I have the first one, the second will be here next week. I'm selling them locally and in state, and thought I'd see if there's any interest here.

The first one:

It's a 5"x3" oval, $2.00 apiece. I'll cover shipping. The second:

It's an 11"x3" rectangular sticker, $3.00 apiece, and again, I'll cover shipping. Looks good on the back of a vehicle, on a range box, what have you. I'm not trying to make any money on these, just recoup my costs, and get the message out. :)

ETA: That's the Colorado state flag, in case you didn't know. ;)

If a lot of people like them, have you thought about donating the design (while retaining the copyright) to the organizations fighting these BS laws so THEY can make *some* money (after you've recovered your investment in materials and time) while working to get the word out and bring folks awareness up?

When I wear my most attractive NRA t-shirts (IMHO), I almost ALWAYS get compliments and/or positive comments about how nice it is to see someone supporting the NRA here in SoCal. I don't see the shirts I have now, so they might not be making them anymore (I wish I'd bought more). But the shirts I get the most compliments on are the all black t-shirts with multi-color prints with the Bald Eagle head on it. Here's a couple of the newer ones:

I think you get the idea.

I've received compliments at the grocery store, the gas station, Best Buy, and even at Taco Bell.

From what I can tell, there's a HUGE undercurrent of folks who support RKBA but for whatever reason are afraid to speak out or openly support it. I've even gotten compliments on my faded NRA Life Member window stickers in my back window.

Whatever you decide, I fully support your idea and wish you the BEST of luck with it and also with your Colorado FREEDOM political fight against being controlled by a bunch of EMO POLITICIANS!!!

GOOD LUCK!!!!
POLITICIANS & DIAPERS NEED TO BE CHANGED OFTEN AND FOR THE SAME REASON

A person properly schooled in right and wrong is safe with any weapon. A person with no idea of good and evil is unsafe with a knitting needle, or the cap from a ballpoint pen.

I remain pessimistic given the way BATF and the anti gun crowd have become tape worms in the guts of the Republic. - toad

I have made personal donations to the group. I'll probably make another. We had a discussion over in arfcom's HTF about the bumperstickers, last I heard they were going with a design by a lady from Texas. They are or were offering a sticker directly aimed at John Morse, Senate president and from this area (but not my district!). He's a total POS. The group's budget is so tight they were only giving their stickers to certain people, "those who really wanted them", I think they said.

I'll take 5 of the 5x3 ovals, and I know some GREAT place to put them. Let me know where to send the money, and put the extra toward the local gun rights groups.

Nice design, by the way.

Thanks. :) I just wish my CorelDraw had an omega in the Greek font. I'll email you via the forum link.

First, I emailed you a few days ago, did you get it?

Oh, I found the Omega in my Coreldraw Greek font. For some reason they made it 'W'.
