Paw Paw, I'm callin' you out:

If you haven't blogged the full story on that one, now's the time.
If you have, this here's the place to post the link.

But what I really want is the YouTube-worthy video of you playing ring around the pine tree with a giant frothing dog on a chain.
I'm betting we could get you your own cable show with it.

You got the full story, but without the interesting modifiers, the richness of style, the intriguing airbrush of prose.

I'll think about it. I may post it sometime next week. I'll have to write it, first.

It was actually a carport column, but I like your idea better. Pine trees are more evocative.

Any dog can snap and get mean, it is just a lot worse when it is a big aggressive bread doing it.

My neighbor's German shepherd attacked me a few months ago in fron of my house. No injuries to me because I knew how to handle it. Told the neighbor, but he did not believe his good old dog who he has had for years would do that. The dog mauled a woman jogging a few days later and put her in the hospital. The dog is put down now, but it would have been easier on everyone had they listened to me.
