Open carry holster?

The place for general talk about gun, shooting, loading, camping, survival, and preparedness related tools and gear, as well as gear technology discussion, gear reviews, and gear specific "range reports" (all other types of gear should be on the back porch).

I'd suggest caution in dealing w. survival sheath -- I placed an order in May, was billed for it, and have not received it, or been able to reach them by telephone or email.

EDIT

I managed to reach someone on the phone, and was told I "should see it next week."

FWIW, Flintlock Tom checked out my Serpa rig at RR III and liked the way it was held securely yet came right out when you needed it. We also discussed the ND issue and figured it must be caused by people curling their finger when drawing the gun, 'cause if you hold it alongside & press your finger flat against the release and your finger rides the groove as the gun comes out of the holster, it winds up on the frame just above the trigger (at least it did on my SIG P226).

After looking at the adjustments for the holster, he was finding it hard to not like the value for the price and was thinking about getting one when he got home.

Well, I got the Serpa Blackhawk CQC. I like it just fine so far.

Thanks, guys, for all the input.
