Y'know, my first trip to Europe should not have competition with going to Austin assuming I am on leave at that moment. That and the fiancee, though she loves shooting might get a little peeved at a change of plans like this. Then again, if all goes well, I'll be in the Bastrop area for about 18 months anyway after I get back.

Well, crap. There's a two-week report filing period that wraps right around the 14th. We just got the 2009 municipal election schedule locked in last week and the official calendar went up this morning. It looks like I'll have to bow out of this one.
