Marko Kloos has an ebook out.

Look here.

He's also justly famous as one "Major Caudill."

I bought it.

I'll have to fire up a computer with Calibre and convert it to Nook format.

Marko has recently announced that it is available in multiple formats - check his blog before you bother to convert it.

Also, 'Major Caudil' is a shameless plagiarist and a scumbag, not a pseudonym for Marko.

I know that. I've just got a messed up sense of humor.

Why thank you, good sir. He has a convenient link on his blog to purchase it in the requisite .epub format.

I'd call you a scholar and a gentleman, but I think too highly of you for that.

I thought "Major Caudill" didn't actually exist.

Read it this morning between support calls. Am I paranoid for thinking the following? (Serious spoilers, I'm not kidding here...)
That the government knew the aliens were going to be there? The planet in question is a good 20 light years inside the NAC's borders, after all. One of the oldest, and most expendable, frigates in the fleet gets sent on the mail run. There just happens to be a carrier battle group near to hand. And the evac pod for the CIC just happens to have a 'chute failure... I further suspect that the captain was in the know & let the XO know about it as well. It would explain the odd insistence he had to make sure that last network update went through prior to the jump.
Is there a consensus yet? Is it a buy and read?
