Was out at a bar the other night and they had a small band playing music. One of the songs was an irish ballad of some kind, a sailing song. Unfortunately I don't remember too many words, and google is failing me. One of the lines was something like "Eat and be merry and drink all your pay, tomorrow we'll be a 100 miles away"......anybody heard something like that before?

You could certainly say that. Should have asked the guys, but they were a cover band it seemed, so I figured anything they were singing would be easy to turn up
