Let's hope they put a suspension on it.

It ain't a 1990's Vette. Check out some Nurburgring vids of Vettes from the past few years. You can't get those times in a car w. a shitty suspension.Yogimus wrote:Let's hope they put a suspension on it.
I like the front end. Very Ferrariesque. The ass end, not so much.
I've always been a form follows function guy. My buddy has a Nissan GT-R. I think the rear end makes it look like a boy-racer toy. But riding in and driving it* are otherworldly.
Mind you, he only let me drive it after he owned it for a few years!

Can you fit in one of those? I've never tried. But a few years back I test drove an Elise. I think I pulled several leg and back muscles getting in and out.Aglifter wrote:More eye bleach...

Re: Brand new Corvette C7
I tried to get into an Elise when I was competing - my leg turned the wheel, moved the shifter, and the steering wheel at the same time - but I no longer have 34" thighs.
I am going to look at an Evora S at the end of the week - I will see what they are like - my brother fits, though - if it wasn't for the silly smart airbag and stability control requirements, the Exige S roadster could be imported - or the GTE Evora - both of which are seriously cool cars - but a sub 4 sec 0-60, and 30+ on the highways isn't too bad.
Chatted to the owner of one last Friday at a gas station - stunning car, ESP compared to all the mundane, bloated crap on the road.

Corvette has the best all around OEM suspension in the world at the moment. They have magnetic dampers that give both very flat cornering, and supple ride qualities. It was so good that Ferrari licensed out the technology for the 599 from GM.Yogimus wrote:Let's hope they put a suspension on it.

It's no 1973 Stingray, but it's not terrible.
Remember, folks, you can't spell "douche" without "Che."

I like that Caterham. Not sure I'd have much use for a 'Vette post-1966.

Nice eye bleach, love the MG's
Someone should rebody the newer Corvettes to look like a proper sports car, their record in GT3 racing shows the drivetrain and suspension must be pretty good.

"Zonda lite" styling. Richard Hammond is going to love it.
