I grew up with this guys puppet shows, and later the live action series 'UFO' - they were the inspiration for the Team America puppets, if anyone on the planet DIDN'T know that
I enjoyed UFO and Space:1999 growing up when Star Trek was off the air and not yet into regular syndication in my area. Stupid in a lot of ways, but fun and a lot better than nothing.
The twin brother and I cut our teeth on both shows, filling pages and pages with drawings of both vehicles. I never saw UFO, and didn't care for Space 1999.
I remember watching Thunderbirds as a kid. Wild stuff.
Remember, folks, you can't spell "douche" without "Che."
“PET PARENTS?” You’re not a “pet parent.” You’re a pet owner. Unless you’ve committed an unnatural act that succeeded in spite of biology. - Glenn Reynolds

+1
We had the Fireball xl5 playset as children.
I bought some Thunderbirds episodes on vhs and dvd recently. They hold up pretty well as children's shows.
when my brother and I complained about the lack of blast marks from the rockets around the pool, his wife said, c'mon guys, it's a kids show! And she reminded us of that conversation MONTHS later!
The use of the word "but" usually indicates that everything preceding it in a sentence is a lie.
E.g.:
"I believe in Freedom of Speech, but". . .
"I support the Second Amendment, but". . .
