If you had to paint a portrait, what would it look like?
What words and terms would you use?
If we let the collectivist define us especially in light of the act of evil,we will lose by default.
I will post tomorrow, just finished a bunch of lowers at my friends house, its 3:27, am going to sleep.

Re: How would you define the Gun Culture?
There's no one "gun culture".
There's the deer hunter who bought a box of ammo three years ago and still has enough for this season.
There's the collector who owns 56 guns but nary a cartridge.
There's the guy who owns a pistol for self defense, but has no interest in anything else gun related.
There's the guy with the underground bunker, a room full of guns and thousands of rounds of ammo.
There'w the guy who likes to shoot down remote-controlled airplanes with machineguns.
And every point in between.
The only thing they have in common is some interest in firearms.

Oh no, this is the long intro...Greg wrote:And then there's Maude.
Remember, folks, you can't spell "douche" without "Che."

Ah right, not everyone is from this continent and over 40. Type "and then there's Maude" into your search engine of choice. Horrific 70's sitcom starring a horrific person with horrific opening credits (that song!) that was hilariously spoofed at least once. I posted it because it's funny.henrybowman wrote:I hate to ask but who is this Maude of you speak of.SoupOrMan wrote:Oh no, this is the long intro...Greg wrote:And then there's Maude.

Also one of many spin-offs of All In The Family.CByrneIV wrote:Doubly funny, in that "Maude" was a left wing "message" show (most famously, about abortion, but they also gun control),Greg wrote:

Sounds like she'd be a perfect appointee for SecDef or SecState for Obama...CByrneIV wrote:Doubly funny, in that "Maude" was a left wing "message" show (most famously, about abortion, but they also gun control), starring a militant bisexual feminist, who was hardcore about gun control, pro drug, anti-military (she was herself a Marine Corps veteran of WW2 but during vietnam disavowed her service) etc...
