Obama Blows Another 3AM Moment

CHICAGO (AP) - President-elect Obama has spoken to the president of Poland about relations between the two countries but didn't make a commitment on the multibillion-dollar missile defense program undertaken by the Bush administration, an Obama aide said Saturday.

He won't help commit to Poland.

And the president of Poland has a different take.

Sounds reassuring. Russia is constructing a new natural gas pipeline along the bottom of the Baltic Sea, right next to Swedish territorial waters, but all the governments involved reassure us that this is no reason for Russia to try to establish control over the area where they put it.
Good to know that the big O will be there to agree with them that Russia is no threat, regardless of what happens.
