If it keeps the Bearded One from damaging any more movies, make it happen.
Remember, folks, you can't spell "douche" without "Che."

Hell if they put the thing on kickstarter they would likely have the whole thing funded in a week.

Meh! Can't think of any George Lucas films that make my top 10 list (never mind top 30) of favorite movies. IMHO, the original SW trilogy sucked, the prequel even more so. American Grafitti? Mediocre. The Indiana Jones series was OK, but again, not particularly memorable.

Snort...links to both those cartoons have now been stolen.

I suppose that I am lucky in that I never really got Star Wars as a kid. My reaction to seeing the first movie was so understated as to actually concern my mother, I just did not see why it was a big deal. I also saw the movies out of order, seeing Jedi some years after the first one and then seeing Empire some time after that. Due to my age everyone simply assumed I had seen them already. Now James Bond on the other hand...

re: American Graffiti. It's probably a generational thing but the impact of American Graffiti on teens in small town USA when it came out is really hard to explain. Maybe at a slower time/moment I can try. Suffice to say, "What a movie!"

Fucking Star Wars, fucking Star Trek - anything with the word 'Star' in it should be euthanised at birth.

Must be a British thing. You say black I say white
You say bark I say bite
You say shark I say hey man
Jaws was never my scene
And I don't like Star Wars

...even before I read MHI, my response to seeing a poster for the stars of the latest Twilight movies was "I see 2 targets and a collaborator".

Maybe it's kind of like the cultural effect of Saturday Night Fever. I think it's a sucky ass movie, though Travolta is kind of entertaining. Apparently, you had to be of that era, living that lifestyle, to get it. I wasn't and I don't.blackeagle603 wrote:@Free_me

I just hope that I can now finally add the Holiday Special to my Blue ray collection
