What is a minimum of stuff to carry? (Trying to think of what kind of pockets to sow in my pants - I think I'm going to work at having some pockets changed/made to make it all lay flat.)
Wallet (really cash, ATM Card, IDs, and AMEX/Visa for hotels/other places which don't take debit.)
Keys (car and house, at a minimum.)
Cell Phone (still think this should be able to replace the Debit/Credit cards and the keys.)
Small knife.
Small tactical flashlight - EagleTac makes my current favorites.
Pocket gun (I keep trying to find something nicer than my Rohrbaugh, and I haven't, unless I start having pants made w. larger pockets, or have smaller hands.)
Reload for same.
And, for me, business card holder, pen and pad - although I know I shouldn't really need the pen and pad that much.
Perhaps a small lighter - I used to always carry one when I was still on the ranch, but I don't know if its something that needed in suburban life.
Anything I missed?

Oleg Volk posted about some interesting pants the other day--they have a breakaway pocket that allows carry of a full sized pistol:

Re: Probably the wrong crowd but...
I've thought about getting a pair of those. I will probably get some, to see how they fit, but I generally tend to have a bit of difficulty finding a pair which fit - especially in pleats. (Pleated pants can look very good, if done well - look at most of the Cary Grant/Bogart movies for examples - but are usually done very poorly.)
The ones at that site look like the pleats might be a bit short...

Don't forget to leave room for HER things when she doesn't want to be bothered carrying them.

I like to give a pair of those pants or shorts a try. A bit of a risk at that price point but interesting to see since I've been contemplating giving a Smart Carry a try.

One of the few advantages of living in the sub arctic I wear a coat most of the time , so I have led flash light , pocket knife, ammo, and a 4" Tracker, in them . so I really don't have your problem.

Yeah... If at all possible, I'm in linen and silk blend or seersucker pants and a guayabera for much of the year... Perhaps I could figure out a useful way to put something in my straw hat...
