The PC version was great.

The X-Box version. Not so much.

I would say that someone needs to kickstart a new Crimson Skies game but I'm sure all the purists would get all whiny about it.

Alestorm is great, I just wish they would do more movie pirate songs, like Victory and Shiver my timbers

Did someone want airship combat?

Take a look at...

Guns of Icarus Online

It's in beta right now. I got a beta key and played it for a while, but it still needs work. Another few months and it should be pretty sweet.

It's available on Steam. If you pre-order you get a beta key. I got hooked up by one of the developers.
Years from now our children and grandchildren living in a 3rd world America will ask "What were you doing on March 21st 2010 and why didn't you stop it?"

Looks pretty cool. Be a Captain and steer your ship into battle, a Gunner and shoot down your enemies, or an Engineer and hit things with a wrench. :)

That's the great thing about Metal, no matter how odd or unusual the theme, if the band treats it as Serious Business, they'll find fans. Try doing that with Top 40 or Rap.

Hell, there's a band that sings nothing but songs about W40K..
