My Recent Military Surplus Purchases

The place for general talk about gun, shooting, loading, camping, survival, and preparedness related tools and gear, as well as gear technology discussion, gear reviews, and gear specific "range reports" (all other types of gear should be on the back porch).

Flecktarn was always my favourite cammo, for use in the UK.

When I was doing OK financially as an 'arms dealer' ;) I actually ordered a custom flecktarn version of the SAS combat jacket from the company who supplies their kit.
Cost me about $400 but it's probably the coolest thing I own ( apart from the missis :D )

Now of course it's totally useless because I live in a place that looks like a desert most of the year....
All my life I been in the dog house

Flecktarn is my favorite camo too, though the type used by the Russian Federation runs a close second. Russian surplus seems to be really expensive though, while the German stuff is really cheap (price), while still being of good quality.
There must be an end to this intimidation by those who come to this great country, but reject its culture.
