Thanks! I was just thinking about taking the screw from the 1851, but it's Uberti and the 1860 was made in Belgium. I'll bring both the .44s along with one of the flinters.
Lately, Sue has been making fabulous cookies; chocolate-chip-and-walnut, and chocolate-chip or raisin oatmeal cookies. I'll see if we can bring some along and not eat them all on the way!

I think they moved a while ago. IIRC the thread about the tree limb hitting their house a year or two ago happened as they were getting ready to close on the house in VA and make the move to ID.

They moved about a year and a half ago. Still getting settled, I think.

Well, rats!
Virginia found out last night that she has a performance on Nov. 3rd, so she will not be coming. She's sincerely bummed.
That also means that I'll be camping at the site.
If time, chance and random process can produce a platypus why not an ammo tree?
