Was just thinking about that, actually. Three cheers for states' rights!

1. One to two years for a new AWB.. Look at HR 1022 as the blue print that will be modified not in our favor.

2. Dems would really be pushing it with a national ban on CCW. It's a state issue or so I would like to believe.

3. We can't go hanging anybody. I would like to make an exception for politicians and journalists, but we can't. It's time to raise some hell with the RNC.

What to buy before the next AWB? Anything you want that holds over ten rounds of ammo, including pistols/mags..

I was going to get a Garand in protest of the Messiah's election, but it only holds eight rounds. I think it's still safe from a future AWB. I'm headed to the gun store this morning to get a high capacity 9mm pistol plus mags in protest.

I think the first thing to go would be "assault weapons." My first pick would be an AR or AK. Given the current status of the concealed carry laws in america, i find it questionable that they would make too much headway in getting handguns.

I was going to work on finishing my AR, but it's time to buy another stripped lower.
And may I say, from a moral point of view, I think there can be no justification for shoving snack cakes up your action.

Not only buy more guns, buy more ammo too. A great deal of ammo too.
As to the questions on how this new Marxist government will make up new laws on guns will happen when the "event" happens in America, or by treaty with the UN.

I've got the EBRs covered. My comments on pistols are geared towards the ban on magazines over 10 rounds which happened last time. You could still get the pistol, but mags over ten rounds couldn't be produced or imported.. prices on existing stock went through the roof.

I might invest in another AR, possibly 2, but I'm buying ammo and magazines.

And accessories. I need a holster for every pistol I own.

I hope all you folks are members of AT LEAST two RKBA organizations (one national and one local). I know were were signing up LOTS of new NRA members at the last gun show, I can only imagine how much the NRA membership is going to grow now - to fight the upcoming next AWB.
POLITICIANS & DIAPERS NEED TO BE CHANGED OFTEN AND FOR THE SAME REASON

A person properly schooled in right and wrong is safe with any weapon. A person with no idea of good and evil is unsafe with a knitting needle, or the cap from a ballpoint pen.

I remain pessimistic given the way BATF and the anti gun crowd have become tape worms in the guts of the Republic. - toad

It will happen within the first year, or maybe within the third year, or not at all. They will not pass a ban during an election year again.
