I'd say it looks like a job for the B-25G, but everyone would be all "we've done that before!" Nothing says "I don't much like your sassmouth" like a 75mm cannon, though with modern capabilities, why not two 90mm (or 106mm for real fun) recoilless guns plus a whole lot of internal ordnance?
I had an idea for an automatic recoilless gun, but I don't know how well it'd work.

A weak government usually remains a servant of citizens, while a strong government usually becomes the master of its subjects.

Hog drivers are loved by Army grunts for providing them with CAS.......unless the Hog drivers shoot one of our own tanks/trucks/APV/IFVs by mistake.

Well, the rationale behind "20" that I've been told is that the Air Force has never not been at war since 1990. Rounded down, heh.

I always wanted to see modern high altitude blimps loaded with 200lb "smart" Micromunitions. Unmanned, and solar powered.

But if somebody builds that, nobody will want my rigid airship UAV-carrier!
