Hay Seuss! A lot of bad news here lately.

I noticed he has two banks listed to send a check to. It would be much simpler for those willing to donate for him to set up a PayPal account (yeah, I know PayPal is anti-gun). The easier it is for folks to donate, the more will.

That said, I will send a check if he doesn't want to go the PayPal route.

Isn't there a way we can donate through cell phones?

Is it very hard to set up something through those?

Oh man... Complete destruction. Wow. Just wow. Mind numbing loss.

Seems as though lots of bad things are happening lately. Sorry to hear about the loss of his cat. No money to send his way right now, but maybe I'll have some available on payday.

Rent end of the month, but I'll see what I can chip in as well.

Yeah, as much as I hate paypal, it would make it a lot easier. I don't even have checks anymore.

If I had money to donate, I'd either be contacting a friend who was going to write a check and give it to him for delivery to include in his check, get a money order from my local market, or as a last resort, fold some cash up inside a piece of legal sized paper inside a security envelope so no one can see what's inside (which I've done several times due to sheer simplicity and being lazy - but the money's gotten through EACH AND EVERY time).

The other thing with cash is there's no paper trail, no matter how much the IRS might want to dig, they'll never find the donation - unless it's volunteered. No matter how ya' do it, it's still better than nothin', and I'm damned sure he'd agree. Of course another advantage of cash is he can spend it RIGHT NOW, and direct deposit via PayPal is the same way, once the amount is registered. Checks and Money Orders, not so quick access.

YMMV

A wave of thefts and general lack-of-home and/or money-ness. Not fun.
