Seriously though, they need to recruit in Louisiana, south of I-10.

They do. Had to work with a guy from there last summer. 6 feet tall, 4 feet wide at the shoulders. Arms bigger than most men's thighs. I think at some point he ate a diesel engine. The job was supposed to take three days, 2 men, and a crane. He did it in one day, by himself, and didn't use a crane. He started at 6am, finished at 7pm. Didn't stop for anything all day. Not to eat, not to rest. I'm not sure if he even needed to take a leak.

Of course, he didn't have any kind of drinking problem. He looked like a hell's angel. Tats, beard, ponytail. I saw him and assumed he was going to have an attitude problem and that I would have to switch to that vocabulary most commonly used by sailors and oilfield trash. Turned out nothing like that. He was mild-mannered, very polite, a family man.
