OP-ED:
In speech after speech, Barack Obama has claimed he would "uphold the Second Amendment." Mr. Obama, of course, is a polished speaker who says "words matter." But records matter more. And while Mr. Obama is short on experience on most issues, he's long on anti-gun votes and even longer on rhetoric. Now's a good time to review both.
One of Mr. Obama's first statements on the issue really said it all. During his first run for the Illinois Senate in 1996, Mr. Obama said on a candidate questionnaire that he supported legislation to "ban the manufacture, sale and possession of handguns." When challenged about the questionnaire earlier this year, Mr. Obama blamed others, saying his campaign staff had filled out the questionnaire incorrectly. (Unfortunately for that story, a version of the questionnaire later appeared bearing Mr. Obama's own handwriting.)

POLITICIANS & DIAPERS NEED TO BE CHANGED OFTEN AND FOR THE SAME REASON
A person properly schooled in right and wrong is safe with any weapon. A person with no idea of good and evil is unsafe with a knitting needle, or the cap from a ballpoint pen.

Gee, the Messiah lied about his position on guns?!? Say it ain't so! 
Look, his record on second amendment issues has always been clear...he is definitely an ANTI-second amendment guy. Always has been. The media has chosen to ignore this and let it stand when Obambi tells folks that their guns are safe with him as president. The media knows that his record shows otherwise so they just don't bother telling folks the truth.
OK...Obambi's past record regarding the second amendment isn't enough? I mean, he says that he will leave your guns alone right. Perhaps we should look at his chosen second in command...Joe "Gaff-O-Matic" Biden. While he actually is a gun owner (of sorts) he is NO friend of the second amendment. He is of the breathtakingly expensive shotgun crowd...the same crowd that believes that guns should have some sort of "sporting" purposes before they should be "protected" under the second amendment. In fact, it was none other than good ol' Joe Biden who helped author the 1994 AWB ban (the "Clinton gun ban")...and he proudly lets folks know it. He is NO friend of gun owners and like the rest of his ilk he has no idea what the second means...or should I say that he doesn't care what the second amendment means?
Now I'm expecting folks to say it won't matter because the last gun ban cost the dems the congress so they won't try it again...not entirely true. Hillary care was the nail in that particular coffin...the AWB was just another swing of the hammer. And you can be damn sure that they WILL try it again and they won't make the mistake of including a "sunset clause" this time around. And watch what happens when the dems figure out that they can actually make money on the gun industry...sort of like they did with the tobacco industry. Watch the taxes on ammo and guns (the ones they don't just outright ban) go through the roof. You think that ammo is expensive now? Wait to see what it looks like after the stroke of a pen and it is doubled overnight...tripled? Don't think it can really happen? Think it is just some more tin-foil hattery? The dems won't risk their majority? Yeah, right. They can and they will do it. But, what about Heller you say? Don't make me laugh! Heller isn't for shit. From day one it has been one of those decisions that has been roundly ignored by the gun banners and their fellow travelers in the state and local governments. For crissakes, DC is still playing games with regards to handguns and the Heller decision was pointed directly at them! You actually think that Heller would slow congress and Obambi down for a nano-second? Not a chance friends. This election is gonna hurt real bad and real long.
