As a coach, you can only challenge the ref's acumen, probity, integrity, and eye sight so many times before he throws you out of the game.
Note to self: start reading sig lines. They're actually quite amusing. :D

Me too. I can keep the clothes in the dryer until such a time as they need to go back into the washing machine. Good God man! I've got guns to clean, I don't have time to fold clothes!Jered wrote:Makes me glad I've got my own place.Cybrludite wrote:Today I relearned that one of my housemates is unclear on the difference between a dryer & a dresser.

For some of us, that isn't a viable option, considering the number of floors between bedrooms and said appliance.
Thus the "Piles of clothes on the floor" methodology.
I learned recently that there's alot of places making perfomance parts, up to and including replacement blocks, for engines that haven't been produced by the OEM for better than 50 years, some of it fairly exotic - did you know they made EFI in the form of Weber stacks for 392 Hemis?
I learned recently I should tune out my friends when they say things like "Hey I came across this project car while picking up parts, maybe you'd be interested?", leading to the discovering of expensive performance parts for long discontinued engines, when daydreaming what motor to stick in it.
I learned recently that daylight savings time is a conspiracy to get me stuck in traffic.
I learned recently that Raybans have gone up dramatically in price - seriously, 140 bucks for Aviators?

Speaking of sunglasses, I learned recently that Serengeti has discontinued their "navigator" line.

Lucky you. I learned that my M1A SOCOM 16, the Trijicon TA70 scope mount, and the Trijicon TA648-308 do not work together the way I had hoped they would.Netpackrat wrote:I recently learned that my $420 Aimpoint, the $200 mounting system I bought for it, and my $250 homebuilt AK do not work together the way I had hoped they would.

I've learned that when my wife tells me "I'm feeling cranky today" I should just go fishing. Even if it's 14 degrees and snowing.
I learned MANY years ago (when I was still living at home) that when a woman (Mom) decides to rearrange furniture, it's always the HEAVY stuff that needs to be moved.
