This review tickled me

Post by Rod »

I was reading a review of the new movie Safe House with Denzel Washington. I almost spewed my water all over the keyboard when I read this,
and the boss (Sam Shepard). He’s one of those squared-away leaders whose chief skill is yelling that other people should do their jobs. “I want everything you’ve got on Tobin Frost!” he orders. Just once, I’d like to see a movie spy chief watch in dismay as 40,000 pages of documents get forklifted onto his desk. “Er, not everything, guys . . . "
The whole review can be read here and he pretty much says the movie stinks.

Good acting requires an imagination; reality requires a person not getting lost in their imagination.

This is a good comment too:
The ending, idiotic as it is, is also worth seeing, mainly because the subtext reveals so much about Hollywood’s upside-down thinking. Yes, this is a community that actually considers Julian Assange a hero.
POLITICIANS & DIAPERS NEED TO BE CHANGED OFTEN AND FOR THE SAME REASON

A person properly schooled in right and wrong is safe with any weapon. A person with no idea of good and evil is unsafe with a knitting needle, or the cap from a ballpoint pen.

I remain pessimistic given the way BATF and the anti gun crowd have become tape worms in the guts of the Republic. - toad
