But do Mexicans want gun laws similar to those in the U.S., where buying an assault rifle can be as easy as buying a beer?
Okay, what Kwik-E-Mart is selling six-packs of EBRs for under $10?

Yes the numerous blatant lies in the article make it hard to read.

Simply remember it's NPR and you understand why it's such a screwed up story. Then, to have fun (or make you angry), read the comments section. What a bunch of maroons.

Even as dishonest a story as that finds itself forced (dragged face-to-face with reality, kicking and screaming all the way) to face certain, um, disconnects between what the Left says and how reality responds.

Like how they have to admit that a country with incredibly strict gun laws could have a problem with gun violence. (But that's UNPOSSIBLE!1!)

Yeah even related to that there's lingering and unavoidable dishonesty (they blame it on smuggling from the US, of course) but baby steps.
