Why I pack heat in my truck.

Post by Cybrludite »

I drove past where this carjacking took place, about half an hour or so before it happened. As an added bonus, I live less than a mile from there. Kudos to the JPs for what looks to have been a clean shoot, with no one hit but the perp.

EDIT: And the guy who's car was jacked is a buddy of one of my housemates. :?

Even there, for the most part. It's within 2 steps, which is plenty close.

I thought your were talking about the gasoline additive. Shotgun and handgun in the office , and handgun in truck . All ways a good idea.

I know. I thought of adding that, but it just wasn't as pithy. :)

Well, if it were a home invasion I were talking about, it would have been "Why I pack heat at home". ;)

Me too.

Pretty much anywhere in my house, I've got a firearm within two steps.

My truck has 2 to 3 firearms in it.
Depends on if I am in it and what all I have been doing recently.

If I have been in non-permissive areas, there is a good chance there is a P3AT in there as well as the .40 sub2000. I have my .40 glock on me if I have pants on.

oh and if the Fiance is in the truck then her P3at is there too.

We very much don't believe in safety by blind faith, muzzle flash blind -maybe.

Suddenly the perp [strike]is[/strike] was a slightly troubled choir boy, according to one report in the T-P. Even though he's been in and out of jail for 15 yrs, with a 2 meter long rap sheet.
