I found a link to this page, but, I've never heard of this service. Does anyone have experience or knowledge about them?

If time, chance and random process can produce a platypus why not an ammo tree?

Never heard of them. A quick search doesn't turn up much either.

One of the early stories on her case mentioned that a bank or such was setting up a fund, plus a local chapter of a gun rights group was doing something to assist her and her son. The story has since gone viral, stories have been on Good Morning America and Fox and Friends.

ETA: According to this local news update, a fund has been set up:
A fund has been established in Sarah McKinley's name. Donations will be accepted at the Chickasha Bank and Trust, located at 1525 N. Council Road in Blanchard. Donations can also be mailed to the same bank at P.O. Box 548 in Blanchard, Okla., 73010.

THANKS for posting the donation info!! I think it's great they received such an incredible amount of requests to help they had to set up something for her at the local bank.

Since she's gone through such a nightmare, I hope she can now see some light to her suffering. And thankfully, she has something more than photographs to remind herself of her husband, something I won't be able to give my wife if anything happens to me. She MUST be headed for Heaven, since he's already been through HELL!
POLITICIANS & DIAPERS NEED TO BE CHANGED OFTEN AND FOR THE SAME REASON

A person properly schooled in right and wrong is safe with any weapon. A person with no idea of good and evil is unsafe with a knitting needle, or the cap from a ballpoint pen.

I remain pessimistic given the way BATF and the anti gun crowd have become tape worms in the guts of the Republic. - toad

Indeed. Blanchard, OK can't be a big town... 21 minutes on 911 and no response from law enforcement?
Town I grew up in was 20 miles from the nearest police station/sheriff's department. Assuming instantaneous dispatch and one of the 2 deputies on duty not patrolling the opposite half of the county, 15 minutes would be a near-perfect response time. 21 minutes would be considered good.

Regarding long response times, my brother once ran Code 3 for so long he and his partner had to stop for gas.
And may I say, from a moral point of view, I think there can be no justification for shoving snack cakes up your action.
