I'm looking for a new holster for my Government Model 1911. It'll mainly be used for USPSA and Steel Challenge, but I have a personal rule about only gaming with gear that I would actually carry. That means it can't be a stripped down, skeletonized gamer rig, and obviously, no retention devices beyond holster tension itself. I've always preferred leather, but I'm not against alternative materials.
So, anybody got any good ideas?

I have a Looper Leather/Bladetech snap-on OWB holster - kydex lined, leather outside. It rides a little lower than I would like for concealment, but it is very fast, and easy to draw from. I use a Blade-Tech DOH (pure game holster) for shooting Production, and surrender is the only position I find noticeably faster.
Blade-Tech mag pouches work well for carry, as well as for games - they have an adjustable loop system, so they can fit tightly on various forms of belt. (I'm wearing a 1911 in that set-up currently, and have been for awhile.

I have a Blade Tech paddle that I like so far. Only have had it about two months but it really pulls the pistol (Kimber 3" ultra carry) tight into the side for good concealment. I like it better than the Blackhawk Serpa that I have for my 5" 1911.
