Betting that he bought it used, with the alarm already in place, and probably still hasn't read the manual. :? :? :?

It finally got turned off at 0333. Heard the chirp, went to the window and looked out, and saw some dude walking away from it, and away from the house and down the street. Clearly there isn't even anybody there right now. Too bad the cops didn't get there first. They'll probably show up in another few minutes.

Time to slap a note on his windshield that reads: "Fix your alarm or I will. Thanks in advance"

Guy might have disconnected (or perhaps cut one) the battery cable and walked away.

If only. The chirp I heard when it stopped sounded more like he keyed a remote.

Call the cops everytime it so much as makes a peep. You have a legitimate gripe and they will get tired of dealing with it and take the proper actions.

Step 1: Record annoying alarm

Step 2: Early one morning hook vehicle up to a tow truck

Step 3: When alarm goes off, start boom box at full volume to replicate the alarm and cut battery cable

Step 4: Tow vehicle off for drop off in a public parking lot (say in front of a fire hydrant)

Step 5: Asshole owner eventually wanders out to turn off alarm and finds a boombox in place of vehicle

Step 6: Hilarity ensues

I prefer my hilarity not to end up in the state pen for car theft... :?
