Unless that is seriously taken out of context or something, I completely agree. Hell, I'll even provide the propane torch to light the super tanker. I'll need some help with the insertion part. Supertankers are HEAVY.

Someone has spent way too much time in Hollyweird, methinks. Screw 'em, indeed. I'm sure they will sell lots of copies to kids who play on XBox. I don't play those kinds of games, usually (closest I came was Crysis 2 and I've yet to finish it). I like shooters, but haven't bought anything new in quite a while. Was going to get FEAR 3, but it's never been on the shelves when I've had a) cash and b) enough working brain cells to remember to look for it. I'm currently re-playing Far Cry 2 for the seventy-third time. And Diablo, the FIRST Diablo, from fifteen (fifteen!) years ago. Anxiously awaiting the release of Diablo 3, as I have been for what, five or six years now. The mind-set of people who would do this, and NOT something like "Jihad USA" mystifies me. But then, I'm a "bitter clinger." I'm sure MY mind-set mystifies THEM.

Apparently they want to behead corporate America and overthrow the govt...sounds like OWS to me.

Not much of a gamer, but I wouldn't be buying this even if I was. At least they didn't call them a group of disgruntled veterans though.

Yeah. The game description states the "True Patriots" want to behead corporate America and over throw the government..

They should be called the Weather Underground but that has already been used.

Guys, Blame Ubisoft(a French company, I might add) - they bought the rights to use Clancy's name in 2008. He likely had no idea what they planned.

I'm sure you're absolutely right, especially if they really own the rights to Clancy's name. Never trust the Fwench, they are full of themselves and are major backstabbers with short-term memories which last milliseconds!

Well then, let's see if Tom Clancy will raise hell over this.

Ever read "Executive Orders"? He's got a group of Montana "domestic terrorists" calling themselves Mountain Men who try unsuccessfully to drive a bomb-truck to the White House.

He can't do much about the French company but give the guy a break. He's used just about every group as terrorists in his books. Don't think he's written much himself in years, just sells the name.
