Re: A Monster Hunter goes "Contracting"
Finished. Now I have to wait on the sequel. I'm going to read "To Your Scattered Bodies Go" now.
RESISTANCE IS NOT FUTILE. It's voltage divided by current.

If time, chance and random process can produce a platypus why not an ammo tree?

Almost through with the book and still can't figure out which redshirt Chris is. I've narrowed the suspects down to three and I'm leaning toward one of them.
one can be a Democrat, or one can choose to be an American.
Good acting requires an imagination; reality requires a person not getting lost in their imagination.

The avalanche has already started. It is too late for the pebbles to vote.

DOH (facepalm). Was reading too fast and kind of skimmed the minor characters. But shame on you Chris, should have made that a spoiler alert. That being said, I just finished and am also waiting for the next one.CByrneIV wrote:Rod wrote:Almost through with the book and still can't figure out which redshirt Chris is. Uhh... then you weren't paying very close attention, given his name is Chris Byrne, and his radio callsign is Anarchangel. He shows up in chapter 12

Uhhh, spoiler about what? When he dies? Because being a redshirt does imply a rather low survival rate (as in 0%). And since Chris said he was a redshirt in the OP...Rod wrote:But shame on you Chris, should have made that a spoiler alert.
...even before I read MHI, my response to seeing a poster for the stars of the latest Twilight movies was "I see 2 targets and a collaborator".

So far, the bad guys seem good and the good guys seem bad.

It's seriously different because it's like reading two different novels at the same time, or one novel from two different perspectives. It's interesting.

He's only been talking about getting redshirted in Larry's book for months now... When you see him show up, you know he's not going to be there at the end...Rod wrote:But shame on you Chris, should have made that a spoiler alert.
