Kinda redundant, actually. Remind me again what fertility symbols like rabbits & eggs have to do with the Resurrection?

(BTW, Frankingun, sorry about the threadjacking... )
very few "true" christian churches have anything to do with eggs, rabbits or Christmas trees for that matter...

of you dont believe me, let me take you to a primitive baptist church one Christmas... hell they dont even believe in pianos for the most part.

That we dislike the smell of vegetarians. They're gassy.
I know, it's that we are all hardcore Christians, er, and pagans and, um, atheists and agnostics.
Damn, that stereotype doesn't work either.
How's this - Christian with pagan influences. :geek:
You mean the Irish

Erm, that would be pagan with Christian influences, for the most part... ;-) Think Hallow'een, for example.

Do they pray to the string or wind section?
one can be a Democrat, or one can choose to be an American.

Of course not, they worship the low brass, like any right-thinking person would do ;-)

That didn't take long to hijack, not at all!

I have a weird fear that I won't be able to convince my brother that I'm much more tolerant than what he thinks. Having a room full of guns and whiskey and a presidential candidate who says he doesn't believe in private ownership of guns makes one tolerant to a lot of things. My family lives near Chicago, and are all raging liberals, despite the fact that they're not poor enough or rich enough to vote that way. Hopefully, things will work out for the best, I will take your advice into consideration, and things will be good between us. I'll find out next weekend.

You won't need to convince him that you're tolerant, just love him as you always have, and it'll be fine.

That hijack was pretty good...

LOL

I mean actively seeing Zeus and Herakles as the Father and the Son, except in the Greek flavor.

Like I said, I have Helenic Pagan friends, and there's something appealing about a version of Jesus that can swing a lion around like a housecat.
