The Local Skank "Shot Song"
One of the better ska bands in the New Orleans area just released a video for a track of their latest CD. The Shot Song. And before anyone asks, the bearded guy in the red t-shirt is not me.

The trombone player was also the poster girl for the Loyola University School of Music. Their music isn't bad and they are all a bunch of cuties...except for the dude, of course. 
There must be an end to this intimidation by those who come to this great country, but reject its culture.

Ashley's also an occasional back-up singer/female vox for the Consortium of Genius, which is how I know her & the rest of the band. (Dr. Pinkerton's mild-mannered cover identity did the filming & editing of the music video, and also helped them cut their demo CD.) Their summer tour dates can be found here if you want to catch them live.
