If I had the time, I would open an Aces High II account. I had more fun playing Warbirds and Dawn of Aces back around 2000 than any other computer game I've ever tried.

I suppose it makes matters worse when Morrigan and Alistair are my favorite characters, and running around with them in tow is a lot like I imagine driving from Seattle to Disneyland would be like, if Alistair and Morrigan were the player's children.
You MUST do the dwarven area before you abandon the game.

Try out Wurm Online. Not much on action, but if you want to literally landscape the terrain and really build your player house, crop fields, walls, stable, etc. Wurm beats all others hands down.

For PC games in general, most of the ones I have tried this year, a couple of dozen, were in one way or another disappointing or deeply flawed. Shooters, space empires, rpg, strategy, I haven't seen more than a couple of games this past year that truly measure up. The PC game market is in decline and it is the game creators who are making it decline.
