Always loved doing those ceremonies.

Did anyone else look at the thread title and think it was asking what flag would replace the Stars & Stripes when the United States fell in a dystopian near-future?

I also fly my flag daily, and have since 9/11. I also replace it on Memorial Day, thanks for reminding me, Mike. Got one that's made in the USA, too! ;)

I like that flag, but how to make it in a manner that it's obvious we don't want OUR OWN government to tread on us (as well as anyone else)??

Now that I think about it a flag with just the blue field would be pretty cool.

I am due for a replacement also. I don't fly it as much as I used to because it just gets torn up so fast. The last time I got an 8' x 15' or thereabouts, it seems like it was near $300 with shipping, so i am a little more stingy about how and when I fly it. The other drawback is that there are only a couple people who ever see it when its up because we are so far from the road. You guys got me fired up to fly it though - especially since memorial day is coming up.
One secret to life. Step #1 - Find something you enjoy doing. Step #2 - Find someone foolish enough to pay you to do it.

So the Navy Jack? Or just plain blue, no stars?
