Depends on what you call a superhero. I was never much for the comic-book types.
But the Gray Lensman (and family, friends, and fleets) are another matter.

The original Big Red Cheese, Captain Marvel. A real close second, Longshot.

Re: Favorite Superhero?
Captain America (Steve Rogers, that is -- the One True Captain America).
The Flash (Barry Allen, that is -- the One True Flash).
Green Lantern (Hal Jordan, that is -- the One True Green Lantern).
The best portrayal I ever saw of Cap, though, was the Frank Miller-written version in Daredevil: Born Again.
Also: Not really a superhero, but I liked Reuben Flagg in American Flagg! Unfortunately, Chaykin's philosophical incoherence (I didn't understand until much later that it was incoherent) didn't help the series any...although I did find interesting the idea of "don't burn the flag, wash it!" as an expression of a sort of New Deal liberal patriotism. (And that was about where I was in the '80s anyway, for whatever that's worth.)
