The team with the most points wins. would LOVE to see a complete blackout just before the coin toss. Can you guess that I hate JJ and his pleasure dome?

Packers have won the last 3 on the road. But let's face it: Rodgers is going to have to throw the ball in order to win. Their run game isn't going to go anywhere against the Steelers D. Although he's been a bit over-hyped, I think Rodgers is good AND he has some excellent hands to throw to. Whether they can get open against the Steelers secondary remains to be seen.

If the Packers Amoeba D can put enough pressure on Big Ben, it's going to be a tough game for Pitt. But this isn't Ben's first big dance.

It is a tough one to call. That's why the line is so close. Also why I am NOT betting a lot of $$$. 8-)

Gotta go warm up the chili... guests arriving soon. Enjoy the game all!

I predict extended wait times if you order a pizza

a slew of commercials that exemplify the best and the worst of what passes for creative talent in the entertainment industry, generating discussions long after everyone's forgotten who won the game

A lot of folks calling off or coming in late tomorrow
...even before I read MHI, my response to seeing a poster for the stars of the latest Twilight movies was "I see 2 targets and a collaborator".

GO PACK!

Wifey's a GB native - used to be able to see the scoreboard at Lambeau from her backyard monkey-bars, her GrandFather would send her out to climb up and tell him the score when they heard the crowd roar after a TD.

Her Dad and Uncles were beer-vendors, most memorably during the infamous "ice bowl" game -- lots of stories...

Her family had season-tickets since Lambeau was built, up until the rebuild a few years back when the NFL utterly screwed them. I refused to watch them for a few years after that -- it really was filthy.

We're still shareholders - have the certs on the wall in my den. Doesn't mean anything really, but it's cool to be able to say I own an NFL team... ;)

So... Yeah.

GO PACK!!

Our guests today are my Step-daughter and her two "mentally challenged" clients. Should be interesting.....

They're just arriving soo....

GO PACK!!

I don't normally care about sports, but my employer has a contract that is contingent upon Pittsburgh winning, so go Steelers!

I had this picked as a Packers/NE Superbowl. I'm the only person I know who picked Green Bay to take the NFC.

I'm not actually terribly impressed with Pittsburgh. They should have lost to the Jets, which is saying something.

Well, between a bleached-blond Madonna-wannabe mangling the National Anthem, and the sight of overpaid jocks adjusting their cups while she did it, I don't think I'm gonna watch the game.

You can "interpret" something by Dylan, or Pearl Jam, or Conway Twitty. The National Anthem should be done as written. //end rant//

"Mangled" it? She didn't just mangle it, she murdered the living shit out of it!! I was extremely disgusted and my wife was so pissed off she actually changed the channel so she didn't have to listen to it. As I said to my wife, the National Anthem is NOT a damn rock rendition song!! She she finished and had that big-assed mouth wide open, I wanted to shove a shit-encrusted steel-toed boot into that opening.

I have to give a lot of credit to the fly-over crew who had to try and time it right even with her complete butchery of the song. Lord knows how many times they had to keep dropping their speed as she screwed it up and stretched out words not meant to have done. Good job, guys!
POLITICIANS & DIAPERS NEED TO BE CHANGED OFTEN AND FOR THE SAME REASON

I remain pessimistic given the way BATF and the anti gun crowd have become tape worms in the guts of the Republic. - toad

Interpret Conway Twitty? Heresy!

Also, I had it drilled into my head as a band geek (by my USAF EOD band director) that "We won the war. The Star Spangled Banner is NOT a funeral dirge."
