Anyone Going to LTUE?

Post by moose42 »

Life The Universe and Everything (LTUE) is a speculative fiction, creative writing convention/lecture series held every year for the past 28 years at BYU in Provo Utah.

It's only $20 for three jam packed days, February 17th 18th and 19th.

Preregistration is up, and so is the schedule.

According to the schedule the following authors will be in attendance, plus some.

Larry Correia
Dan Wells
John Brown
Howard Tayler
Bree DeSpain
Tracy Hickman
Brad R. Torgersen
L. E. Modesitt, Jr

So anyone on the forum going? Do you guys want to meet up and do lunch, or dinner or something?
Years from now our children and grandchildren living in a 3rd world America will ask "What were you doing on March 21st 2010 and why didn't you stop it?"

Wow! I would love to go, if only to shake Larry Correia's hand.

Sadly, life intrudes.

First thing I'm gonna do when I get back to the world... buy a gun and walk away with it, no waiting period. That's the dream. :)

Again, my travel funds and time-off budget is tied up with events in March. Besides, with that long a road trip, I'd have to find someone with whom to trade off on the driving. (I refuse to submit to Mineta's Morons anymore.)
