Tanya...the whole story.

Post by AZMARK »

Larry Correia has the complete story of everybody's favorite face punching elf princess up on the Baen website.
My favorite story of his ended with "...and so he went out the back door in his bathrobe, flipped the AK to 'Afrikaner', and started hosing the baboons off his tennis court." - Tam

One badass tale. I LOL'd.

I suppose his next book will now include Tanya and the elf village? He can sure keep this series going for a while! :D

"Tanya" is a short story in the Monster Hunter Universe by Larry Correia.

Hie the to the interweb and buy both monster hunter books now. You won't regret it.

Think of a company kind of like Blackwater paid bounties by the US government to hunt monsters, and you'll get about halfway there.

There I've made it easy for you, both books right there to click on and buy.

Monster Hunter International

Monster Hunter Vendetta

Larry Correia is who indirectly got me into writing. I've written some Monster Hunter fan fiction, but since have moved on to my own stuff.

A short story in the Monster Hunter International universe.

Author is Larry Correia, (in)famous for the "HK. Because you suck and we hate you"essay. A gunnie with some good cred, and has dropped in here on occasion, so you know he has class and good taste! Oh, and he also one of those New York Times best seller thingies.

We've had some threads on his work in the past.

(with a post by, hmmm... )

And about 50 other threads started by Moose42
...even before I read MHI, my response to seeing a poster for the stars of the latest Twilight movies was "I see 2 targets and a collaborator".

Ok, I understand now.Kind of :D

Back in the late 80's I used to work for a company called Games Workshop. They had this Warhammer and Warhammer 40K alternate universe with the Orcs and the Elves and all that stupid bollocks. Except I don't think that they were allowed to call them Orcs at that time, because that name was licensed by Tolkiens family.

I ended up working for them because my friends wife was employed at the factory where they made all the little lead pixies and fairies and she would steal them :D
I got to painting the 'miniatures' on her behalf ( I like military modelling and I'm pretty good at it ) and she showed some of my work to the GW big bosses ( AKA stupid, stupid fucking nerds, apart from John Blanche who was a very cool guy ) and they decided that they would employ me as an artist and modelmaker.

It sucked. It paid for my Harley chopper, but it really sucked. Eventually I went back to working as a labourer just because I couldn't stand interacting with those fucking idiots. I'd rather carry heavy weights up a ladder than put up with their bullshit.

Which is why I am allergic to Orcs, Elves, Eldar, Space Marines, Dungeons and fucking Dragons and all other varieties of fucking pixies and fairies.

But Tanya seems to have her shit together :D
