Hyper realistic training

Post by Combat Controller »

Heck, I want a job as an OPFOR player. It was never this good in my day. Would have loved some better training, not that what I had wasn't adequate enough, it's just that this is way more realistic.

Oh heck yes getting paid to play the bad guys would be awesome.

Got some of this style of training in my Pre-Mob session. Being on the business end of the RPG simulator is scary as hell.

Amputee actors. No shit. I've seen a couple of them.

that screams two things

But well worth it for military training. WELL worth it.

WOW. This is the best training I've ever seen. I've been out since '98, so we never had anything like this. I have two nephews, and my niece's husband, who are currently serving, and I hope they can get training like this. It would certainly improve their chances of coming home safely. My hat is off to these guys. I'm sure it's expensive, but I'm also sure our troops' lives are worth every penny. I'm too old to play like that any more, but it sure makes me wish I were twenty years younger. I hope they continue and expand.

There are place that private citizens can go, that while not as awesome as this, are still pretty cool. Live ammo, explosions, vehicular ambushes, stuff like that.
