If they lose, I hope she says to hell with your stupid asses, and comes home to introduce articles of secession into the next legislative session.
I think if that happened, there'd be a LOT of people moving to Alaska.
only if they can grab a chunk of land with a bit more mild winters...

More mild compared to what? Perhaps NPR can tell us how accurate the temp information is on this page.

I might head there myself- I just need everyone to increase carbon emissions so Alaska will warm up to a proper tempature.

The debate was stunning for its lameness.

Where were Brokaw's audience questions on abortion, gun control, Bill Ayers, etc... all censored .. Soviet style.

I don't know why they keep calling these moderated forums "debates" - these are NOT debates. We'd find out a whole lot more about these candidates if they actually let them DEBATE rather than spew out canned answers to questions asked (and forum controlled) by a liberal moderator.

Are there still any undecided voters? So, what's the point of these "debates".

I would like to say that I was disappointed with McCain's performance (or lack thereof) last night, but I can't. I expected him to roll over just the way he did. I suppose I am going to have to get my head around the fact that our next president is an unapologetic socialist and that the American people finally decided to pull the chain on our republic. My God that was just pitiful...both dipshit candidates were awful.

And one last thing. This idea from our resident Obambi supporter/sycophant that Palin was a bad pick because of a percieved lack of experience is typical liberal pap. This would be almost funny if it were not for the fact that the head of the [strike]socialist[/strike] demoncrat ticket actually had ANY experience to point to. If he actually had any accomplishments under his belt that he could haul out and use as some kind of example of his presidential credentials it would be one thing, instead he's got nothing. Basically all he's got is the fact that he is part of the Chicago democrat machine...and he is [strike]black[/strike] half-black. And let's not mince words here...he wouldn't be where he is today were it not for the color of his skin. That ain't racist...that's just a plain fact. Of course, liberals will be quick to throw the race card. I don't care. But the idea that Sarah Palin is somehow the downfall of John McCain is laughable. As if some old white guy (like Biden?) would have given the ticket a boost? Please! Sarah Palin's lack of experience is only eclipsed by Barak Obama's complete absence of experience. Palin has actually run a business, a town and a state...the only thing that Obama has run has been his mouth. Palin actually gave McClown's campaign a boost. Frankly, I worried that she would sully her name by being associated with McCain, but on the chance that he would win it would give her needed experience for a future presidential run...of course, if he loses she becomes the republican Geraldine Ferraro and is never heard from again which would be a shame.

Men always ask the question: Why do good women pick such losers as boyfriends? It's all about charisma.

And then they got the vote. ;-)

And if McCain had picked a Tom Ridge as Veep, he could have talked about that all day long and there would have been nothing to come back with. Instead he turned the experience slam dunk into an arguable debate. You can't put her a heartbeat away from the Presidency and then talk about how important experience is. Experience was his #1 argument and he threw it away in favor of energizing the base, which isn't going to get it done any more.

Correct. And if Palin's baby hadn't been born without Downs, or if she were Jewish, or if she looked like Chelsea Clinton, or was a man, she wouldn't be the nominee either. Race, religion, gender, children some people use as campaign props, etc. matter.

funny how being governor was fine for clinton but its not enough experience for palin eh?

never mind that she has had more involvement in politics than obama... guess the biggest difference is that he has tons of experience with shady politics and shady characters... so that really makes him qualified...
