Well, I'm coming to the end of my leave from overseas, and I'll be back over til March. While I've been back in NY, I've been looking at colleges-for awhile I'd considered leaving NY but my family/financial situation is such that staying in NY just makes more sense at the moment.
It looks like I'll be at SUNY Cobleskill next year in Wildlife Management, living off campus in my own place...which means I'll be able to apply for my pistol permit, finally. I've been trying to find out how easy it is to get unrestricted carry in Schoharie county, where the school is. I know Albany is pretty restrictive, but the other surrounding counties are not so bad-i haven't been able to find much about Schoharie though. Do any other New Yorkers have any insight to that particular area?
