I'll keep my Congresspeople
Because they are good guys right??? Well, that's what the dipshits who vote for Kennedy, Pelosi, Schumer, et al think. They, too, think their represenatives are the good ones and the rest are a bunch of shit heels. That is precisely why they will ALL be reelected...because their guy is good and all the rest are fucked up. Something to keep in mind........

If they have the word "incumbent" next to their name... they all need to find themselves a new job.

Can we keep Ron Paul? He seems to be the only one who can read the US Constitution, then make a decent effort to follow it.

My two Senators are Republican and generally vote to my satisfaction - both voted "NO" on the recent bailout bill. That said, I would have no problem with voting them out if the replacement was NOT a Dimmicrat. The time to dump the incumbents is in the primary, and it's already too late for that here in Kansas - our one Senator up for re-election won the primary, (unopposed for all practical purposes). I cannot bring myself to vote for the [strike]Socialist[/strike] Dimmicrat.

My House member is a first-term Dimmicrat, whom I voted for to oust our weasel do-nothing beltway Republican incumbent. She is pro-gun, voted "NO" on the bailout bill and most of her earmarks have been for military facilities and veterans benefits. She spends every weekend in her district, holding at least two "town hall" meetings. However, (like almost all politicians) unless the issue is important locally she votes the party line. While she has been "good" for us here in the Kansas Second District, I think I will be voting for the Republican incumbent.

Congressional representation was NEVER meant to be a career position, and anyone who makes a career out of politics usually tells quite a bit about their character (or lack thereof). Take a look at ALL the long-term (more than two terms) politicians and tell me which ones you think are actually working for the public good.

I doubt anyone going into the job as a millionaire already is tempted by the money - more than likely it's the power as they view themselves less and less as serving the public and more and more as being ABOVE the public - a BETTER class of citizen.
POLITICIANS & DIAPERS NEED TO BE CHANGED OFTEN AND FOR THE SAME REASON

A person properly schooled in right and wrong is safe with any weapon. A person with no idea of good and evil is unsafe with a knitting needle, or the cap from a ballpoint pen.

I remain pessimistic given the way BATF and the anti gun crowd have become tape worms in the guts of the Republic. - toad

he firmly believes that if the US were to pull its troops out of every foreign country... that we would be left alone by other nations and by terrorists too...

...Which is a bit like saying that if one wanted to walk the streets safely, one should never learn self defence or carry a weapon. And in the unlikely event one is attacked, just throw a towel over your head- If you can't see them, obviously they can't see you.
