Most of you probably don't remember this tag line, "From out of the clear blue of the western skies comes....", but those of you who do probably had a crush on the female lead. Gloria Winters, who played Penny on Sky King died a week ago. Story here.

I remember being six years old and getting an autographed picture of Sky King (Kirby Grant) himself from his own hands (personal apperance at a circus that was in town). A prized possession then, don't know what happened to it. At that age IIRC Penny wasn't of much interest.
...even before I read MHI, my response to seeing a poster for the stars of the latest Twilight movies was "I see 2 targets and a collaborator".
