The Expendables

Post by Rod »

I LOVE this movie! It actually has a storyline, the humor is fantastic, the ending is one huge explosion. Think 1980's action movie with a little intelligence. Terry Crews using an AA-12 to clear a cellar passage has to be a highlight.

Good acting requires an imagination; reality requires a person not getting lost in their imagination.

I saw it last night, it was pretty much awesome.

Easily one of the more awesome movies of the year. I had been waiting for this one for a while and was becoming afraid that it would not live up to my expectations; I should not have worried.

Saw it today - "Remember THIS at Christmas!!"

Need more movies like this. There will in all likelihood be a sequel, still some loose ends...

Hey, less of that. This is a family forum! :-)

Funny, Mrs Denis and I were just bemoaning the lack of anything even remotely watchable in the cinema this summer. The last movie we saw was "how to train your dragon" (recommended, by the way...).

The scene with Stallone, Willis and Schwarzenegger was priceless, the knife vs hand gun competitions were funny as well .
