All of my line, back until the late 1800's ( maybe even earlier ) have taken other mens lives in combat.

It's a heavy load to carry, even when it's in a righteous cause, and it left it's mark on their souls.

Sometimes I feel like I didn't hold up my end of the deal, not having a war to fight in, but then again I never wake up screaming.

Fuck killing people, it sucks ( although it's got to be done )

I edited that because it could have read that I belonged amongst their company, which I don't.

Maybe something like: "Go to HELL, you Mother f'cker!!" Or maybe even: "This is going to hurt you much more than its going to hurt me!"

EDIT: I voted just to even the poll out. 1-1
OK, Magic Brownies are in and another option. :P

I can't imagine myself ever executing a kneeling man, so I have a bit of a problem playing along...

I figure I'll either kill him in mutual combat (assuming I survive) (in which case I'd have to choose "Tuco") or see him tried for his crimes then executed - preferably with a rope but tied to a post for a firing squad would work too...

I'll not enumerate the 536 at the top of my wish-list -- probably wouldn't be prudent...

in any case, I don't think I'd use either quote - opting instead for a recitation of their crimes, their sentence, and "may G*d have mercy on your soul."

That said, I think the Jacson line is infinitely better theater than the B.S. one...

Time to die, nerd boy.

I also like Tuco (known as the Rat).

I'll go with something that I hope might cover me on a legal basis: Halt, or I fire! Or: Drop that Gun! etc etc.

Or if I am using the bayonet, the words 'On Guard!' would be screamed just before a spot of in, twist, out, and butswipe. Trust me, that really gets the blood up.

If I had to execute someone things would have to be bad, really bad, like TEOTWAWKI.

So I guess if I ever had to do that I'd ask the condemned, "Is your grave deep enough yet?"
Years from now our children and grandchildren living in a 3rd world America will ask "What were you doing on March 21st 2010 and why didn't you stop it?"

Honestly, I cannot imagine talking, unless as an actual executioner - and I don't think I'd ever try out for such a job.

I'm going to reference a hypothetical game I played with my mom when she was concerned about my personality getting 'harder' after 9/11. The idea was, you find Osama sleeping in a tent. No way to capture him as you are inside an enemy camp (the sentries are magically sleeping, no chance of being caught if you're reasonably quiet).

According to mom, there was no way it was right to just execute someone. Upon consideration, she decided she would indeed kill him in his sleep, but silently.

I'd say same here. If you have to kill someone, don't make it a game, don't crow over your enemies fate, don't enact some revenge fantasy. Do it and more on.

If I said anything before pulling the trigger, it would more than likely be, "GET OUT OF MY HOUSE!!!" I voted magic brownies.
