Very nicely done.
But, two things, what do you do when you park the bike in public for extended periods? And, wouldn't you want the holster on the opposite side so you're not removing your hand from the throttle?

A couple of items, if you look carefully, you'll see the holster tab actually slides through a reinforced loop on the saddle seat, so it *appears* immediately removable to attach as IWB of some OC over-the-shoulder rig. Of course, he could also easily unholster the gun and slide into another rig he might be wearing or even not in a holster at all - just straight IWB (or belt) carry.

Many bikes have throttle locks/friction devices which semi-lock the throttle in position for extended riding. I had them on my last three road bikes. They aren't so tight that you can't twist them closed or otherwise adjust the speed, but tight enough that they stay put once engaged.

The other option is to learn to shoot left-handed (which isn't a bad skill AT ALL). That holster is to the rear of the rider's leg, so he's going to be reaching straight down to draw it, and same would go if switched to the other side. However, the BEST option for someone on a bike who might need to draw a weapon is to simple become a VERY poor target themselves until they get into a position where they can either return fire effectively or extricate themselves from that scenario.

If they have to put the bike down, hopefully they'll put it down on the side OPPOSITE the gun!

I guess the assumption is that the rider would want to shoot on the move? Any defensive training I have done that involves a vehicle (IE very little) states that you drive your way out of a problem, and only shoot your way out if you end up stopped and have no other option.

Annnd, to use your left hand would mean that you would have to let the clutch go, a bad thing to do...Or are Hardley Davidsons different than rice burners? I've only ever ridden Suzuki, Honda and Triumph.

Harleys have the clutch on the left side. I don't think any standard motorcycles have the clutch on the right side, anymore.

But shooting from a moving motorcycle is where southpaws would definitely have an advantage.

From what little I know about shooting from a vehicle, anyone shooting from a moving motorcycle would need a high-capacity magazine on his shotgun, if he expected to hit anything. It's cool though.

I've often wished for a left handed thumb throttle for my three wheeler, but I'm not sure that having the throttle in my left hand would work out any better than shooting a pistol with it.
