Recovering master gunner, 7 borrowed grandkids, wife-unit who tolerates me and apparently a nebbish unable to whip his mail server into submission...oh yeah, and a tax guy on top of everything else. Well, I never was fond of the easy road...

Hi Y'all,

Name's Hartley, located in Phoenix, AZ. Saw the announcement on Chris' board and jumped in..
I'm married to an OB/GYN and have the two best daughters in the world.. the older one graduated college last May, the younger is a senior in HS this year. I'm an engineer, but I've done lots of different stuff - 7 years with uncle Sam in SF, managed my wife's office, etc..
We have a Tayana 48 currently in San Francisco Bay, and we intend to move aboard and sail away when my wife retires.. Also enjoy scuba, skiing, amateur radio (lots of hams on this board!) photography and I spend too much time with the Civil Air Patrol.

Hello all. I must say the the new site looks great.

I'm just an Okie that works in the aviation industry that doesn't make it to the range often enough.

Maybe I scanned this thread too fast. Has the kid (Wizard) checked in? Be a shame if he lost track of this crew while away serving.

Many thanks to all ya'll for setting up this recovery group for former Gunthing addicts.

RustyV here.

I'm a Senior Engineer for one of the western railroads in the telecom department (no I don't get to drive the trains ;) ). I'm a jack of all trades, but my main focus at work is telephone, networking, and related systems. Phone system design and installation guru, self taught (and under paid) *nix nerd, part time C coder, and, being the youngest engineer in any of the 3 groups I float between, general whipping boy.

I'm also a gun tinkerer, astronomer wanna-be, and part time telecom Mr. FixIt for a couple of non-profits in South Dallas/Irving/Ft Worth.

Been in the DFW area for ~6 years now, in this job for 2, and I only recently found a range near my apartment.

Haven't seen Eugene check in yet either.

Hey Shoot45s,
Hubby and I are at H&H nearly every weekend. Feel free to join us. We will be there Saturday. Everyone knows us. Just ask if Michael and Jenni are there.

I shit you not, he can't seem to figure out how. I've been too busy mocking him rather than helping him. Eventually I'll just fix it for him, but I'm having too much fun now.
