If I'm a store owner can I go to my place of business within MoA with a concealed handgun?

Its been years since I was there but I do believe there was a Scheels Sports (or some other local chain thing like it) store there and I know that they sell guns including handguns...Then wouldn't buying a gun there to comply with my CCW permit and holstering it make them kick me out of the mall?

As far as I know, by visiting other, much smaller malls, in Northern Minn. they have a sign saying that so and so, and this store and that store don't allow concealed carry on their premises but I could walk with my concealed handgun around the mall, excluding those stores mentioned on the sigh at all the entrances and the individual stores have a sign at their entrance saying No Guns Allowed...Why can't MoA?

Legally, every individual store in the mall may post the signs, but the mall itself can't. I don't think the sporting goods store sells guns in the mall, but there's a Bass Pro going in on the property that will.

Now, if you are carrying there and get caught, they will kick you out. The local PD will even help, but there's no fine involved.

If you carry in an individual store that is properly posted and the store demands compliance and you refuse and they call the cops and you are dumb enough to hang around waiting for the cops to get there, they'll give you a $25 ticket.

I'm aware of all that, I've shopped in Minn for years but at smaller malls in East Grand Forks, Moorehead, Bemidji, Park Rapids, Detroit Lakes etc. hence the last statement of my post.

My question was that I own a store in the MoA, I have a license to carry CCW, I carry large sums of money, jewels, lottery tickets, whatever with me and need protection...Will the MoA Rent a Pigs hassle me because I'm walking around with a CONCEALED handgun and wearing a Class lll vest? Can they hassle me? The signs at the entrances to the Mall are not in compliance with state law thusly any action taken by them is fruit of the poisonous tree, nicht var?

So it isn't Scheels but will be Bass Pro...Will they be then allowed to sell guns, especially handguns in the Mall without their customers being hassled because if they did it to mine, I'd be suing their asses for preventing me from conducting my business and in accordance with both state and federal laws.

There's a mall in Park Rapids? I remember being in CENEX, Minnesoda Fountain, and Main Street Meats (wife's cousin) but a mall?

Oh yeah, -- there's a Walmart Supercenter now. ;)

Seriously though we love Park Rapids. No need for Mall Cops. The locals will take care of you if you get out of line -- you betcha.

If I could only make a living there... Grandma's house is still sitting empty on Main St since her passing several years ago (Uncle/executor is sitting on his hands).

If the rentacops know you, you won't have a problem. If they don't, and they see the gun, you will be hassled, guaranteed. I don't think there is a remedy in criminal law, but a civil suit should settle it if the business owner can afford to go up against the mall.

That said, I carry every time I go there and have never been hassled. Discretion serves a purpose.

Don't forget the group photo of these hardened veterans from their security recruitment flier:

WTF? Don't these lot ever smile? If I owned a mal, I'd want my customers to feel un-threatened. These lot are just too reminiscent of the TSA - Another group not known for being welcoming or friendly.
