And may I say, from a moral point of view, I think there can be no justification for shoving snack cakes up your action.

ESPECIALLY when they're heavy safety-glass.workinwifdakids wrote:Yes. That's exactly what I had in mind. POLITICIANS & DIAPERS NEED TO BE CHANGED OFTEN AND FOR THE SAME REASON
A person properly schooled in right and wrong is safe with any weapon. A person with no idea of good and evil is unsafe with a knitting needle, or the cap from a ballpoint pen.
I remain pessimistic given the way BATF and the anti gun crowd have become tape worms in the guts of the Republic. - toad

Aren't a lot of storefronts tempered glass?
ETA: Nevermind, I just learned that "tempered" and "safety" are interchangeable when it comes to glass....

They're really fun if you use a 1/2" nut as 'fodder', it screams as it goes downrange.
And they have several uses in the hunting field, not just small game (if you're good) but for spooking game out of the brush, just shoot on the other side of the patch you think the critter is in and they tend to come right to you.
And here's a bit of local color for those back 'east'.

That is exactly how my father makes his catapults, except he uses a forked stick from an ash tree.

a wrist rocket, a pair of safety glasses, 100 paint balls. $20 at wal mart.
Whole afternoon in the woods playing poor man's paint ball, priceless
